With profound joy and paternal pride, We, extend to each of you our heartfelt congratulations on the sacred day of your ordination to the Holy Priesthood. Today the Church in Benin, the Church in Africa, and the entire Communion of The Old Catholic Church rejoice, for the Lord has raised new shepherds for His flock. Rev. Fr. Through the laying on of hands and the invocation of the Holy Spirit, you have been configured to Christ the High Priest, the Good Shepherd, the One who “came not to be served, but to serve” (Mk 10:45). This mystery you now share is a gift, a burden of love, and a mission that extends to the ends of the earth.
